Pricing questions answered
Characters are counted after normalization: Unicode normalization is applied first, then whitespace is collapsed. Numbers, punctuation, and Devanagari/Arabic script characters all count individually. SSML markup tags are not counted. A typical 30-second audio segment in Hindi is around 200 to 250 characters.
Free tier accounts are blocked until the next billing cycle. Growth and Pro accounts continue at the plan's overage rate, billed at the end of the month. You can set a hard limit in the dashboard to prevent unexpected overage charges.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are billed a prorated amount for the remaining days in your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period, so your current plan remains active until then.
The Free tier is your trial for both the API and the platform. It includes 1,000 characters per day with no time limit, so you can evaluate the quality and latency before paying. If you need higher limits for a structured evaluation, contact us for a 30-day pilot arrangement.
